Here a correction has been swiped from right to left, and a red "Delete" button has appeared. Tapping the "Delete" button deletes the correction. Tapping outside of the Delete button hides the Delete button.

The reason for manual corrections is to deal with situations when the user fails to start or stop a timed activity at the right time, while at the same time preserving the integrity of the time laps, which are historical records.

Preservation of the integrity of time laps is especially important in a business setting when timing is performed by employees and the records are kept for the benefit of a company.
