BodyWeight Operation
BlackBerry™ devices provide different ways of user interaction (touch screens, trackballs, D-Pads, keyboards) and BodyWeight works with all of them:
- Touch Screens:
To move a slider knob (1) swipe along the slider rightwards to increase the value, or leftwards to decrease the value, or (2) tap on the slider rail at the expected value position. (Responsiveness and precision depend on the type of the touch screen on your device).
- Trackballs:
Moving the trackball up or down toggles the focus between the controls (Height Slider <-> Width Slider). The focus is shown with a bright magenta outline of the control in focus.
To move a slider knob: Move the focus to the slider, then roll the trackball rightwards to increase the value, or leftwards to decrease the value. (Responsiveness and precision depend on the type of the trackball on your device).
- D-Pads:
The "Center" key brings into focus the last previously focused control. The "Up" or "Down" keys toggle the focus between the controls (Height Slider <-> Width Slider). The focus is shown with a bright magenta outline of the control in focus.
To move a slider knob move the focus to the slider, then press the "Right" key to increase the value, or the "Left" key to decrease the value.
- Keyboards:
The "C" key brings into focus the last previously focused control. The "U" and "D" keys toggle the focus between the controls (Height Slider <-> Width Slider). The focus is shown with a bright magenta outline of the control in focus.
To move a slider knob move the focus to the slider, then press the "R" key to increase the value, or the "L" key to decrease the value.
Touching the touch screen, or pressing any key not used for operating BodyWeight, as described above, hides the focus.
